In 2024, wealth managers in Germany pursued a return-oriented yet carefully risk-aware portfolio strategy. The allocation shows a clear direction: short durations in the fixed-income segment, a strong focus on U.S. equities, and lower cash quotas. These are just some of the insights from the new Trendmonitor Vermögensverwaltung 2025, created by the Institut für Vermögensaufbau (IVA) in cooperation with the Munich WealthTech QPLIX.
The analysis is based on more than 61.000 real client portfolios from 118 independent wealth managers.
